Hurricanes Rumors: Tyler Toffoli & 5 Others On Team's Radar
The Carolina Hurricanes are preparing to be big buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It is understandable, as they are among the top teams in the NHL and have a real shot of making a big run during the playoffs because of it.
One specific area that the Hurricanes is looking to improve is their forward, and they are now being connected to several players because of it. According to The Fourth Period, the Hurricanes are believed to be interested in Pavel Buchnevich (St. Louis Blues), Adam Henrique (Anaheim Ducks), Frank Vatrano (Ducks), Tyler Toffoli (New Jersey Devils), Anthony Duclair (San Jose Sharks), and Vladimir Tarasenko (Ottawa Senators).
It is quite apparent that the Hurricanes are looking for more scoring when looking at the players they are eyeing. All of these players would provide them with another top-six winger (or center with Henrique) and they would be a lot stronger on paper in the process.
However, all six of these players are forming large markets, and it is understandable, as they all have the potential to make a big impact when playing at their highest levels.
It will be interesting to see if the Hurricanes end up adding one of these forwards before the trade deadline passes from here.
