Nashville Predators Sign Tommy Novak To Multi-Year Contract Extension

A coveted trade piece appears to be off the market.

The Nashville Predators have secured the services of Tommy Novak for another three years, reaching an agreement on a deal that will see the player earn an average annual value (AAV) of $3.5 million.
The deal is worth $10.5M in total over the three years.

This contract extension reflects the team's confidence in Novak's abilities and potential, as well as their commitment to maintaining a competitive roster.

This season, the 26-year-old has scored 13 goals and 34 total points across 50 games played.

Novak, who has shown promising development and versatility on the ice, will continue to be a key player for the Predators. His performance up to this point has evidently made a significant impression on the team's management, leading to this substantial investment in his future with the club.

The deal not only secures Novak's place on the team but also sends a strong message about the Predators' plans for the present and the near future.

Over his first three seasons in the NHL, spent entirely with the Predators, Novak has amassed 31 goals and 84 total points across 129 games played.

With this new contract, expectations for Novak will likely increase as the Predators look to him to play a pivotal role in their pursuit of success in the coming seasons. Photo Credit: Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports
