Panthers Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Vladimir Tarasenko

Vladimir Tarasenko is one of the most notable pending UFAs for this year's class. The skilled winger has had a strong season split between the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers and should get a good contract because of it. If the Panthers can't get him extended or decide to let him walk, expect these three teams to target him during the summer.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Carolina Hurricanes were in on Tarasenko this past offseason and were rumored to be the frontrunner for his services before he signed with Ottawa. With the Hurricanes having multiple pending UFA forwards, they surely could try to get Tarasenko this offseason. He would be a good addition to their middle six.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers were a good landing spot for Tarasenko last season. The veteran winger fit in nicely in their top six, and the Blueshirts could try to bring him in again this summer because of it. They certainly could use another scoring winger in their top nine, and Tarasenko would give them that.

Seattle Kraken: The Seattle Kraken will look to add to their forward group this offseason. There's no question that they need more scoring, as it has been a big reason for their shaky 2023-24 campaign. Thus, don't be surprised if they are in the mix for Tarasenko if he hits the market.
