Penguins Rumors: Tristan Jarry & Several Others Generating Interest
It has been a truly disappointing season for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Because of this, star winger Jake Guentzel is the NHL's top trade target heading into the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. However, he is not the only Penguins generating trade interest at the moment.
According to The Fourth Period, Reilly Smith, Rickard Rakell, Lars Eller, Noel Acciari, Marcus Pettersson, Chad Ruhwedel, Tristan Jarry, and Alex Nedeljkovic are all garnering interest with the trade deadline being less than one week away.
Out of this bunch, Smith is the name that has been discussed the most. However, the rest of this group has not generated too much chatter until now. However, with the Penguins having such a disappointing season, they are in a position to make some serious changes to their roster.
While this news does not mean that the Penguins will trade every one of these players, it certainly is possible that we could see a much different-looking Penguins roster by March 8. These players all have the potential to generate plenty of interest from contenders, and it will be interesting to see how many of them get traded from here.
