Predators Rumors: Nashville Hoping To Re-Sign Coveted Trade Piece

Despite generating significant interest from other teams due to his impending unrestricted free agency, Novak's breakout performances have solidified his position as a key player in the Predators' lineup.

Trotz has made it clear that the team's priority is to retain Novak, emphasizing ongoing negotiations for a contract extension as a testament to their commitment to keeping him in Nashville for the long term.

This season, the 26-year-old has scored 12 goals and 32 total points across 50 games played.
