Canadiens Set to Sign Prospect Luke Tuch
The Montreal Canadiens made a notable move earlier this week, signing top prospect Lane Hutson to an entry-level contract. Now, it appears that they are gearing up to make another big move.
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Canadiens will be signing forward Luke to an entry-level deal, but there is "still work to be done."
Still work to be done, but looking like 2020 second-rounder Luke Tuch will sign with the Canadiens

Tuch, 22, was selected by the Canadiens with the 47th overall pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-2 forward has spent each of the last four seasons with Boston University. The 2023-24 campaign was his best one, however, as he set new career highs with 10 goals, 20 assists, and 30 points in 39 games. As a result, it makes sense that the Canadiens are going to be bringing him in.
Tuch comes from a hockey background, as his brother, Alex Tuch, plays for the Buffalo Sabres. Now, both Tuch brothers will be under NHL contracts, which is great to see.
Nevertheless, we will now need to wait and see how much of an impact Tuch can make while with the Canadiens from here.
