Canucks Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Tyler Myers

Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers has quietly had a solid season for the club this campaign. In 71 games, he has four goals, 24 points, and a plus-14 rating. Because of this, if he hits the free agent market, there should be a good amount of interest in him. Let's discuss three teams who could look to add him in this scenario now.

Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars will likely look to add to the right side of their defense this offseason. This is especially so if they are unable to get Chris Tanev signed to a new deal. Regardless, Myers would be a notable addition to the Stars' defensive group and would also give them another veteran to help mentor their younger players.

Ottawa Senators: Adding a right-shot defenseman who can handle big minutes is a necessity for the Ottawa Senators this offseason. Because of this, it would not be too shocking if the Sens were in the mix for Myers this offseason. On a short-term deal, it would be beneficial for both parties.

St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues could look to add to their defense over the summer. The right side of their defensive group could use a bit of a boost, and Myers could be a great addition to their bottom pairing. With that, he would be an option for their penalty kill if signed.
