Coyotes Sign Promising Prospect to ELC

The Arizona Coyotes have made a roster move, as they have signed prospect Sam Lipkin to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Lipkin is the third notable player from Quinnipiac University's roster to go pro this week, as Jacob Quillan (Toronto Maple Leafs) and Collin Graf (San Jose Sharks) have also signed their entry-level deals to the NHL.
Lipkin, 21, is coming off an excellent season with Quinnipiac, as he had 15 goals to go along with 35 points and a plus-15 rating in 39 games. This was after the Pennsylvania native had 14 goals and 43 points in 39 games. Needless to say, he put together an excellent collegiate career, and now he will look to translate that success over to the pros.

The Coyotes selected Lipkin with the 223rd overall pick of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Given how well he has developed his game in college, it is fair to say that this is a selection that they must be happy about making.
