Edmonton Oilers Recall Dylan Holloway
The Edmonton Oilers have made a notable roster move, as they have recalled forward Dylan Holloway from the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Holloway, 22, has appeared in 32 games with the Oilers this season, where he has three goals, one assist, and 66 hits. Overall, the 2020 first-round pick has had a fairly quiet campaign when with the Oilers, but now he will look to end it on a high note if he gets into game action during this latest recall.
Holloway has been excellent while with the Condors this campaign, as he has 10 goals to go along with 16 points in 18 games played. He also has been on fire lately while the AHL squad, as he has four goals and six points over his last five games. Due to this, he is returning to the Oilers in the middle of a hot streak. That could mean good things for the Oilers if he can translate it over to the NHL.
With the season being in its final portion, there is no harm in the Oilers taking another look at Holloway at the NHL level. They already have their playoff spot secured.
It will be intriguing to see how well Holloway performs with the Oilers during this latest recall from here.
