Flames Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Jacob Markstrom

Leading up to the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, Jacob Markstrom was one of the top trade candidates. In the end, the Flames ended up keeping him, but there is a real expectation that they will shop him again this summer. Because of this, let's go over three clubs who are likely to try to add him.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils made a push to land Markstrom at the deadline, and there was a reported deal in place that fell through. The Devils need a true starting goalie if they hope to bounce back next season, and Markstrom would give them that.

Detroit Red Wings: The Detroit Red Wings could look to bring in a high-impact goalie this offseason. While Alex Lyon has been a nice story for them this season, they would benefit by adding a star between the pipes. With that, Ville Husso has not worked out well in Detroit.
