Flyers Given Tough Sean Couturier Injury News
The Philadelphia Flyers will be without one of their key forwards during a crucial part of the season, as general manager Danny Briere announced that Sean Couturier is dealing with an upper-body injury and will not travel for the team's next two games.
Briere noted that Couturier is will be out day-to-day, so it appears that the veteran center's injury is not as serious as it could have been.

However, with the Flyers fighting to cement their playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, it is incredibly concerning that they are not going to have Couturier in the lineup. While he has been shaky at times this campaign, there's no question that they could use an experienced player like him in their lineup as they look to land a playoff spot. However, they will now need to adjust with Couturier being sidelined.
Couturier, 31, has appeared in 70 games this season with the Flyers, where he has 11 goals to go along with 36 points.
We will need to wait and see how well the Flyers perform these next two games without Couturier from here. Every point is critical at this point of the year for them.
