Injury happened with roughly 5:00 to play in Calgary Saturday.
Sounds like an injury, but not a major one. With playoffs around the corner, they'll be careful.
McDavid, 27, suffered his current injury in the Oilers' recent matchup against the Calgary Flames. Thankfully, it appears to not be a serious injury, but this naturally causes some concern, given how important of a player McDavid is.
McDavid is having another remarkable season, as he has 31 goals to go along with 130 points in 74 games. He is currently sitting at 99 points and is on the verge of history, but even with this being the case, the Oilers must be careful with him. The playoffs are quickly approaching.
We will now need to keep a very close eye on McDavid and his latest injury. Here's to hoping that he has a very quick recovery and does not suffer any setbacks along the way.
