Sabres Rumors: 4 Players Could Be Gone This Summer

Looking ahead to the offseason, the Buffalo Sabres face the prospect of potentially losing four players to unrestricted free agency: Victor Olofsson, Tyson Jost, Zemgus Girgensons, and Eric Robinson.

Olofsson's sharpshooting prowess and power-play expertise make him an enticing target for teams seeking offensive firepower, while Jost's versatility and youth could attract suitors looking to bolster their center depth.

Over his six-year career, spent entirely with the Sabres, Olofsson has amassed 90 goals and 92 assists for 182 total points across 313 games played.

Jost joined the Sabres mid-season last year, and has compiled 10 goals and 17 assists for 27 points across 101 games played.

Meanwhile, Girgensons' gritty style of play and defensive reliability may catch the eye of franchises in need of a dependable two-way forward, while Robinson's speed and forechecking prowess make him an intriguing option for teams seeking bottom-six depth.

The 30-year-old Girgensons has spent his entire 10-year career with the Sabres, putting up 89 goals and 98 assists for 187 total points across 687 games played. He drew some interest from teams at the trade deadline, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up in free agency.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Robinson, who was acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets this season, put up two goals, nine total points, and 72 hits across just 40 games played.
