VIDEO: Rangers' Igor Shesterkin Makes Unreal Save on Max Pacioretty
The New York Rangers have one of the NHL's best goalies in Igor Shesterkin. The superstar netminder was a major reason for the Blueshirts' immense success this season, and it is translating over to the playoffs.
In Game 3 against the Washington Capitals, Shesterkin made an absolutely stunning save on Washington Capitals forward Max Pacioretty. After receiving a perfect feed from Sonny Milano, Pacioretty had a golden chance to score. However, Shesterkin made a sprawling save to rob Pacioretty.

Pacioretty has put together a long career in the NHL because of his scoring ability, and that only makes Shesterkin's save on him all the more impressive. Pacioretty had plenty of net to work with, but Shesterkin quickly changed that and made this outstanding save because of it.
Shesterkin has had a solid run this offseason, and he is only seeming to get better during this season against the Caps. This is certainly a good sign for the Rangers, as they are in Stanley Cup or bust territory.
