3 Free-Agent Destinations for Nikita Zadorov

Nikita Zadorov is one of the top free agent defensemen who can hit the market this offseason. The Vancouver Canucks will likely look to re-sign after his excellent postseason run. However, if they do not come to terms on a new deal before July 1, look for these clubs to try to add him.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs were connected to Zadorov during this season, and they should target him again if he reaches free agency. Their blueline needs some serious help, and Zadorov would give them that. He also would give them more toughness, which is another need.

Los Angeles Kings: The LA Kings need to improve the left side of their defense this offseason. Bringing in Zadorov would greatly improve their top four, as he plays a steady all-around game. He also would be an excellent option for their penalty kill if acquired.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils could use more toughness in their lineup. Because of this and their need for another impactful left-shot defenseman, Zadorov would be a marvelous addition to their roster. Thus, it would not be shocking if the Devils tried to add Zadorov this summer.
