3 Potential Free Agent Destinations for TJ Brodie

After another first-round exit, the Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing to make some notable changes to their roster. One player who the Maple Leafs are likely to let walk this offseason is TJ Brodie. If the 33-year-old hits the market, there should be interest, as he had plenty of experience and can play a lot of minutes. Let's discuss three teams that could target him now.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are likely going to add to their defense this offseason. They could use another steady left-shot defenseman in their lineup, so a player like Brodie could grab their attention. This is especially so if he is willing to sign an affordable deal.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Carolina Hurricanes have several pending UFA defensemen this offseason. Because of this, they may need to add some players to their group, and somebody like Brodie could grab their attention. He would give them another option for their penalty kill and could work on their bottom pairing.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals need to improve their blueline if they hope to be a bigger threat next season. They could use a dependable veteran like Brodie on their roster, so it would not be too surprising if they were in the mix for his services.
