Avalanche Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Sean Walker
The Colorado Avalanche's season came to an end on Friday night when they fell to the Dallas Stars in overtime in Game 6. Now, the Avalanche are set for some changes. One player who they could lose this summer is defenseman Sean Walker, as he is a UFA. As a result, let's discuss three teams who could look to add him now.
Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs are a clear team to watch when it comes to Walker. They desperately need a top-four right-shot defenseman, and Walker was just that this season. As a result, he would be a notable addition to the Maple Leafs' roster if signed.
Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars may be in the hunt for a right-shot defenseman this summer. This will especially be the case if they lose Chris Tanev through free agency. Yet, even if they keep Tanev, Walker would still be a strong addition to their roster, as he would give their both of their special team units a boost.
Edmonton Oilers: The Edmonton Oilers should be in the market for a right-shot defenseman this summer. Walker would give them a nice boost, as he would fit into their top four and provide them with more offense from the point.
