Big Absences Announced For Both Stars & Avalanche For Game 6
In a huge blow for the Dallas Stars, the team has announced that Roope Hintz will not play once again in Game 6 against the Colorado Avalanche Friday night — his second consecutive game missed due to an upper-body injury suffered in Game 4 on Monday.

Again, kind of a big deal. They’re hopeful for next game or next series, if that happens.
Head coach Pete DeBoer said he is "hopeful" that Hintz can return for whatever comes next — Game 7 of this series or the first game of the Conference Finals. He remains day to day.
The Stars will clearly miss the 30-goal scorer, who was out for Game 5 when the Avalanche were able to stay alive with a 5-3 victory.
As for the Avs, they of course will also be without one of their key offensive weapons in Val Nichushkin, out with a six-month suspension.
But Colorado has also announced that they'll be without one of their top penalty killers in Game 6, with Yakov Trenin out with an upper-body injury, suffered when he got tangled up during a first period faceoff in Game 5.
I think this face-off might be where Yakov Trenin's injury occurs. He took one shift after, but it was a short one. After this, he's on the bench in a lot of pain. pic.twitter.com/5Flxs0wYAC

The Stars will try to wrap up the series Friday night in Denver, otherwise it'll head to a Game 7 in Dallas on Sunday.
