Canucks Rumors: 3 Free-Agent Destinations for Elias Lindholm

The Vancouver Canucks' season is now over, which means that all eyes will now be on free agent Elias Lindholm. Given Lindholm's improved play during the playoffs, they certainly could try to re-sign him. However, if that does not come to fruition, look for these three teams to try to sign him in free agency.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins have long been linked to Lindholm. They tried to land him during last offseason and at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline but were unsuccessful with their efforts. However, if Lindholm hits the market, the Bruins are in a prime position to add him, as they have a lot of cap space.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals are going to look to add Lindholm this offseason if he hits the market. They need some serious help down the middle if they hope to regain their status as true contenders, and Lindholm would give them that.

Columbus Blue Jackets: The Columbus Blue Jackets were linked to Lindholm during this season, and they could look to add him if he hits free agency. Lindholm of course had excellent chemistry with Johnny Gaudreau during their days together with the Calgary Flames.
