Golden Knight Rumors: Anthony Mantha Linked to 2 Pacific Division Teams

Anthony Mantha, currently on the Vegas Golden Knights and approaching unrestricted free agency, is expected to garner significant attention from teams this summer, with the San Jose Sharks and Utah being linked to the forward, by Julian Gaudio of The Hockey News.

Vegas acquired Mantha from the Washington Capitals at this year's trade deadline for a 2024 second-round pick and a 2026 fourth-round pick.

Despite a challenging season with the Golden Knights, where he often struggled to secure a regular spot in the lineup, Mantha's potential as a skilled forward remains evident. His combination of size, scoring ability, and experience makes him a valuable asset for teams looking to bolster their offensive lines.

Over 18 games played with the Golden Knights, the 29-year-old recorded three goals and seven assists for 10 total points.

The San Jose Sharks are particularly keen on adding Mantha to enhance their roster around emerging young talents, aiming to improve their playoff prospects with his proven goal scoring ability.

Meanwhile, Utah's interest underscores their ambition to make some big moves this summer, ahead of their first season.

Over the past three seasons, Mantha has put up 43 goals and 51 assists for 94 total points across 178 games played.
