Jets Rumors: Tyler Toffoli Linked to 2 Teams
It has already been established that Tyler Toffoli will not return to the Winnipeg Jets for next season and will instead test the free agent market. Given the fact that he had another solid season in 2023-24, there is no question that he will generate a lot of interest and land a nice payday.
Toffoli is already starting to be connected to teams, as The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta reported that the Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings will be the teams that target Toffoli this offseason.
Toffoli previously played for the Canucks and it certainly would make sense for them to bring him back. The Canucks took a big step forward this campaign and would benefit greatly by adding a sniper like Toffoli to their top six. He would also give their power play a nice boost and provide them with more experience.
Toffoli also is well known for his time with the Kings. They were in on him at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline when he was being shopped by the New Jersey Devils. When noting that they need more scoring and Viktor Arvidsson is expected to not be brought back, it makes all the sense in the world for the Kings to sign Toffoli this offseason.
We will now need to wait and see if either of these two clubs end up landing Toffoli in free agency this summer from here.
