Jets Rumors: Tyler Toffoli Linked to Metro Team

Tyler Toffoli is one of the top free agents heading into the 2024 NHL Offseason. The veteran sniper is coming off of another solid season, and there will be a lot of interest in his services from teams looking for a top-six scorer.

One specific club that is expected to make a real push this offseason for Toffoli is the New York Islanders.

The Islanders desperately need to add a scoring winger to their top six, and Toffoli would give them that. He is a consistent 25-goal threat, and that is exactly what the Islanders need right now on their roster. Along with that, he would give their power play a significant boost.

Toffoli could work wonderfully on a line with star forward Mathew Barzal if the Islanders landed him. This is because Barzal is an elite playmaker who would be able to set up Toffoli regularly. Along with that, Toffoli could also create some magic with fellow star Bo Horvat.

The Islanders are going to need to make some real changes to their group if they want to become true contenders again. As a result, it would not be surprising in the slightest if Toffoli is one of the names at the top of their wish list this offseason. We will need to wait and see if they can successfully land him this summer from here.
