3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Adam Henrique

The free-agent market opens on July 1 and veteran center Adam Henrique will be hearing from a number of teams. Henrique started his season in Anaheim and finished, unfortunately one win short of taken home the Stanley Cup as the Edmonton Oilers were topped by the Florida Panthers.

Heading into the offseason, Henrique looks to land a multi-year contract as he continues down the back nine of his career. Here's three teams to keep an eye on:

Detroit Red Wings

The Wings could be losing David Perron and Patrick Kane this summer and will be looking for veterans to come in and make an impact. Henrique could fit very well in Detroit and with Yzerman's cap space, would fit in with no issues. Henrique can play in all situations, late in games, and in many different roles, his versatility is something the Red Wings need more of.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins need help down the middle and are going to be addressing it this summer. They had Morgan Geekie and Charlie Coyle playing too high on the depth chart last season and need to balance things out. Henrique had 51 points last season and another seven in the playoffs. He'd give the Bruins a massive boost and his versatility is something the Bruins could use much more of.

Seattle Kraken

The Kraken remain a bit of a mystery this summer as they haven't been linked to many players but apparently are looking to find some more offense this summer. Henrique isn't a game changer but he's an impact forward who can play all over the lineup. The Kraken could use more players like this after sending some out before last season's trade deadline.
