3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Anthony Mantha

The Vegas Golden Knights have to move on from several of their pending free agents as they don't have much for cap space. GM Kelly McCrimmon sits with a projected $1.1 million to work with and it's likely a trade or two is to come out of the desert.

It also means some of their free-agents will be moving on including Anthony Mantha.. The veteran forward was acquired in season last year before the trade deadline and recorded three goals and 10 points in 18 games. Here's three teams who will likely be very interested come July 1:

Nashville Predators

Nashville has one thing on their mind this offseason, find secondary scoring. GM Barry Trotz confirmed he's not happy with having just one offensively line carrying all the offense and will be looking to spend some of the Preds' cap space on bringing in proven producers.  Mantha fits the bill. He can play either wing and finished last season with 23 goals combined between Vegas and Washington.

Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres are another team looking for some more offense this summer. GM Kevyn Adams has $23.5 million to work with and Mantha's likely to come in around $4 million per season. Buffalo is sick and tired of missing out on the playoffs and are going to be very aggressive this offseason finding some NHL talent who can help make an impact immediately. Mantha's certainly someone who will be on their radar.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks got a good sense of how good Connor Bedard could be and are going to expedite their rebuilding process. Look for the Blackhawks to sign a few veteran forwards this summer and try to make the playoffs as soon as next season. Mantha would give them some more production from the wing and after it didn't work out with Corey Perry, the Blackhawks could use some more veterans in their lineup next season.
