3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Brady Skjei

Brady Skjei is one of the top defensemen who can hit the free-agent market this offseason. If the Carolina Hurricanes can't finalize a new deal with the left-shot defender before July 1, he will have a plethora of suitors. Thus, let's discuss three potential free-agent destinations for him now.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings have some cap space to work with this offseason and are planning to use it. After getting their goalie, they now should look to improve the left side of their defense. Skjei would be a massive addition to their top four and would give them more much-needed offense from the point.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators will be aggressive this offseason and are expected to add to their blueline. Skjei is a player who should grab their attention, as he would be a great pickup for their second pairing. He also would work on both their power play and penalty kill because of his strong all-around play.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins will be in the market for a left-shot defenseman. Matt Grzelcyk and Derek Forbort are both expected to walk, and bringing in an upgrade like Skjei would be huge for them because of it. They also have the cap space to make a splash by bringing in Skjei.
