Blues Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the St. Louis Blues.

Daniel Sprong: The Blues should be looking to improve at right wing this offseason. They need more secondary scoring if they hope to be a bigger threat in the Western Conference next season, so they could enter the mix for Daniel Sprong. He is only 27 years and has proven he can contribute offensively in a bottom-six role.

Vincent Desharnais: The Blues are likely to add to their defensive depth this offseason, and a player like Vincent Desharnais could make sense for them because of it. He would give them another option for their bottom pairing and give them a defender who plays a heavy game.

Victor Olofsson: The Blues could also take a flier on Victor Olofsson this offseason. While he had a down year in 2023-24 with the Buffalo Sabres, he is a prime bounce-back candidate. On a cheap one-year deal, he could be a good player for a retooling team like the Blues to take a chance on.
