Blues Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Justin Faulk

The St. Louis Blues are expected to make some changes to their blueline this offseason. One player who has been creating some chatter in the rumor mill because of this is defenseman Justin Faulk. When noting that he is still a solid top-four defenseman at this point of his career. Because of this, let's go over three teams who could look to acquire him.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes may have traded Faulk before the start of the 2020-21 season, but a reunion could make sense now. The Hurricanes' right side could lose plenty of its depth this summer, as Brett Pesce, Tony DeAngelo, and Jaden Chatfield are all pending UFAs. Perhaps Faulk could grab their attention if they lose at least one of them.

Utah: Utah is expected to look to build on their blueline this summer. Bringing in an impactful veteran like Faulk could be worthwhile for them because of it. He would be a nice addition to their second pairing and would work on both of their special team units because of his solid all-around play.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators must improve the right side of their defense this offseason if they hope to become a threat in the Eastern Conference. Bringing in a veteran like Faulk to mentor their younger players would have the potential to be quite beneficial.
