Flyers Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer
Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.
In this latest edition of the series, the Philadelphia Flyers will be the team of focus.
Dakota Joshua: The Flyers could look at a player like Dakota Joshua this offseason. The 6-foot-3 forward fits into the Flyers' identity, as he is not only a skilled player but also plays a very heavy game. In addition, he is still only 28 years old, so he could be a long-term piece of their core as they work through their rebuild.
Alexandre Carrier: The Flyers are likely to look for help on the right side of their defense this summer, so Alexandre Carrier could be an intriguing addition to their group. He would work well on either their second pairing or third pairing and would give them a bit more stability on the blueline.
Dominik Kubalik: The Flyers should consider taking a flier on Dominik Kubalik. While he had a down year with the Ottawa Senators, his past success shows that he is a bounce-back candidate. If he performed well on a one-year deal for the Flyers, he would give them a good trade piece at next year's trade deadline.
