Flyers Rumors: Joel Farabee on the Trade Block

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee has been a popular name in the rumor mill since the trade deadline. Questions about his future in Philadelphia have naturally come up, and now we have received a big update regarding his availability.

According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Flyers are shopping Farabee on the trade market.

When noting that Farabee is a 24-year-old coming off a 22-goal and 50-point season, there should be plenty of interest in his services this summer. He has already shown signs of being a top-six winger, and there is a reason to believe that he may not have had hit his ceiling yet.

Farabee may benefit from a change of scenery at this juncture, as his playing time has dropped every year since the 2021-22 campaign. However, even with this being so, he still put together a career year for the Flyers in 2023-24.

Teams looking for more scoring in their top six should certainly be calling the Flyers about Farabee. In addition, with the Syracuse, New York native still being quite young, he is an option for both contenders and rebuilders.
