Kraken Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will focus on the Seattle Kraken.

Jonathan Marchessault: It is no secret that the Seattle Kraken must improve their scoring if they hope to be a better team in 2024-25. As a result, they should look to make a major splash in free agency and try to sign star sniper Jonathan Marchessault. He is coming off a 42-goal season, so there is no question that he would be a great addition to their lineup.

Adam Henrique: With the Kraken also needing more production in their middle six, Adam Henrique stands out as a potential target. He would work virtually anywhere in their lineup, as he can play both down the middle and on the wing. In addition, he would be a good mentor for the club's younger players because of his experience and leadership skills.

Tyler Myers: The Kraken should also look to add a right-shot defender to their roster this summer. Tyler Myers would be a nice addition to their group, as he is coming off a strong season with the Vancouver Canucks. He would fit on either their second pairing or third pairing and be a nice addition to their penalty kill.
