Maple Leafs Rumors: Latest on Mitch Marner's Market

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner is the biggest name in the rumor mill right now. After a disappointing postseason, the Maple Leafs are expected to change things up, and moving Marner would certainly do just that. He is also entering the final season of his deal, which has led to more trade speculation.

The Fourth Period recently reported that Marner's trade market is heating up, as the Vegas Golden Knights, Nashville Predators, Chicago Blackhawks, and Dallas Stars are all being linked to him.

The Golden Knights are never afraid to make a big splash, and boy, would adding Marner be just that. He would be a huge addition to their first line and could create some real magic with Jack Eichel if acquired.

The Predators are expected to add to their top six this offseason after taking a big step forward in 2023-24. A player like Marner would be an absolutely huge addition to their group, as he would give them that much-needed star in their top six.

The Blackhawks must bring in help for Connor Bedard, and Marner would certainly give them that. Bedard would thrive playing with an elite playmaker like Marner. Chicago also has the cap space and assets to get a deal done.

As for the Stars, after falling short in the playoffs, they could look to make a massive splash. They have the potential to win the Stanley Cup. Perhaps adding a superstar like Marner could be the final piece of the puzzle.
