NHL Rumors: 3 Flames Who Could Be Traded Next

The Calgary Flames moved another huge piece of their core this week, trading Jacob Markstrom to the New Jersey Devils.  It was only the latest big move from the retooling Flames, and it would not be surprising if more of their players found new homes before the start of next season. Because of this, let's discuss three more Flames who could be moved this summer now.

Andrew Mangiapane: There is an expectation that the Flames will move Andrew Mangiapane this summer. He is entering the final season of his current deal, and he is too valuable of an asset to potentially lose for nothing next summer in free agency. Interest in his services is skyrocketing because of it, with the Washington Capitals, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Carolina Hurricanes in the mix.

Blake Coleman: Blake Coleman had a magnificent season, posting new career highs with 30 goals, 24 assists, and 54 points. Due to his big year, the 32-year-old's trade value is at its highest, and there is an argument to be had that the Flames should listen to offers for him because of it.

Andrei Kuzmenko: After a shaky start to the season with the Vancouver Canucks, Andrei Kuzmenko heated up big time following his trade to the Flames. In 29 games with Calgary, he posted 14 goals and 25 points. The fit has been great, but Kuzmenko is also entering the final season of his deal. Could this be enough for the Flames to test his market? He improved his value down the stretch.
