"Utah Hockey Club" won't exactly strike fear into any opponents, nor does it give confidence that much of an imagination went into the name.
Interestingly, just a week or so back, team owner Ryan Smith had said that the naming process was down to four finalists, while mentioning Yeti and Mammoth as two of them. Somehow, an extra two slipped into the final voting.
On Utah: Per their release, their 2024-25 jerseys will have “UTAH” across the front. We’ll first see that look at the NHL Draft (June 28) — heard it’s likely a black jersey.

Once the name has been selected, the logo, mascot, main jerseys, etc. will debut in the 2025-26 season.
Per insider David Pagnotta, the team will simply have "UTAH" across the front of their jersey for next season, likely with a black-based color scheme, and the new name along with the logo, mascot and main jersey won't debut until the 2025-26 season.

Balloting closes on June 20th.
