3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Tanner Pearson

After a down 2023-24 season with the Montreal Canadiens, Tanner Pearson remains without a home at this juncture of the offseason. While this is the case, he should be able to land a cheap one-year deal before the season starts because of his past success. Let's discuss three teams who could consider signing him now.

Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks could look to add a veteran like Pearson to their bottom six. It is no secret that they have a plethora of cap space to work with. In addition, they need more forward depth, so perhaps they could consider bringing in Pearson on a one-year deal.

San Jose Sharks: The San Jose Sharks are rebuilding, but they also have not been afraid to bring in veterans to help mentor their youngsters. Due to this, it would not be particularly surprising if they took a chance on Pearson. He also notably had plenty of success playing on a line with Sharks newcomer Tyler Toffoli during their days on the Los Angeles Kings.

St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues could use another forward before the start of the season. If they signed Pearson, he would give them another potential option for their bottom six. With the Blues not possessing the best of depth scoring, Pearson could be worth taking a gamble on, given his past success.
