3 Potential Landing Spots for Free-Agent Tyler Toffoli

The free-agent market opens at noon on Monday and there's going to be a long list of suitors for veteran forward Tyler Toffoli. His days appear to be numbered with the Winnipeg Jets and after finishing the season with the Jets, will move on to his next team on Monday.

Toffoli is coming off a 55-point season where he earned $4.2 million against the cap. The 32-year-old forward is a Stanley Cup champion, he has over 90 Stanley Cup Playoff games under his belt and it doesn't matter which one of his former teams you ask, everyone loves having Toffoli in the dressing room.

Look for the LA Kings, Nashville Predators, and Vancouver Canucks to show serious interest on Monday. Toffoli is likely looking at a three-year deal and north of $4.5 million per season.

The Jets appear to be moving on and are looking for some versatility up front as Toffoli and likely Sean Monahan are both hitting the open market on Monday. The Jets surprised last season by keeping Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele so we'll see what kinds of tricks Kevin Cheveldayoff has up his sleeve this summer.
