3 Potential Trade Destinations for Hurricanes' Martin Necas

Carolina Hurricanes forward Martin Necas has been the subject of trade rumors all offseason, but he has yet to be moved. However, there are still multiple teams interested in the star, so let's discuss three specific potential landing spots for him now.

Montreal Canadiens: It is not a secret that the Montreal Canadiens want to add a top-six winger, and they have been connected to Necas all offseason. He would be a massive addition to their roster and is still young enough where he would have the potential to be a long-term part of their core as they continue their rebuild.

Chicago Blackhawks: The Chicago Blackhawks have a known interest in Necas, so they could still be in the mix. While they made multiple additions to their roster this offseason, they still could use another skilled winger to play with Connor Bedard. Thus, don't be surprised if the Blackhawks making a bigger push for Necas.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames are in a retooling period and have traded away plenty of veterans because of it. They want to be younger, and bringing in a skilled forward like Necas would help with that goal. He would give them another option for their first line and would instantly be one of their key power-play members if acquired.
