NHL Rumors: Anthony Stolarz Generating Interest from 3 Teams

Anthony Stolarz had a fantastic season as the Florida Panthers' backup goalie, posting a 16-7-2 record, a .925 SV%, and a 2.03 GAA. Because of this and the weak goalie market, Stolarz is generating a lot of interest.

According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, the Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Chicago Blackhawks are all aiming to sign Stolarz.

It is understandable that the Panthers have not given up signing Stolarz, as he was excellent for them this past season. Given how well he worked as their backup, it would be big if they managed to get him signed to another deal.

The Maple Leafs are looking for another goaltender to work with Joseph Woll, so it makes sense that they have interest in Stolarz. He would help form a nice tandem with Woll, as he showed this season that he can be a very impactful goalie when playing at his best.

As for the Blackhawks, it is no secret that they could use another solid goalie on their NHL roster, and Stolarz would give them that. Stolarz could also be very open to the idea of playing there, as he would have the best shot of becoming a starting goalie.
