NHL Rumors: James van Riemsdyk Linked To 4 Teams

Erik Beaston of Bleacher Report has speculated on where veteran forward James van Riemsdyk might land in free agency. 

Despite a solid season with the Boston Bruins, where he tallied 11 goals and 27 assists for 38 points, van Riemsdyk remains unsigned. 

Beaston highlights that his experience and consistent secondary offensive production make him an attractive option for several teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks, and Montreal Canadiens.

These teams could benefit from his veteran leadership and ability to contribute in key moments, potentially bolstering their rosters significantly.

Over the past three seasons, the 35-year-old has recorded 47 goals and 58 assists for 105 total points across 214 games played.

Beaston also suggests that even teams not in desperate need of offensive help, such as the Vegas Golden Knights, might consider signing van Riemsdyk to enhance their depth.
