Report: Jonathan Marchessault Leaving the Vegas Golden Knights
The Vegas Golden Knights are going to look much different up front next season as the team is moving on from pending free-agent forward Jonathan Marchessault.
No one represents the Golden Knights more or better than Conn Smythe-winner, Jonathan Marchessault.

And they are letting him walk out the door after he continuously expressed a willingness and desire to stay.
Unconscionable.
Jonathan Marchessault is headed to market Monday.

Unable to come to terms with the Vegas Golden Knights.
There's been growing speculation the Golden Knights are considering a run at Steven Stamkos, meanwhile there won't be enough money to go around for Marchessault.
The speedy winger is coming off a 42-goal season which included adding 27 assists for 69 points in 82 games. Marchessault has spent the past seven seasons in Vegas, and was a big part of them winning the Stanley Cup.
Unfortunately the team has very little cap space and will need to make a significant trade just to get Stamkos or any free agent to fit under their cap. Right now as it stands heading into day one of free agency, GM Kelly McCrimmon has $1.8 million to work with. Reminder, teams aren't required to be salary cap compliant during the summer months.
Marchessault is going to have a long list of suitors including the Vancouver Canucks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, LA Kings, Nashville Predators and Seattle Kraken.
With multiple reports of Jonathan Marchessault unable to come to terms and likely being on the outs in Vegas, we relive this all-time parade moment.
