Penguins Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations for Lars Eller

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Lars Eller created a lot of trade chatter in the rumor mill leading up to the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. This carried over to the offseason, but at this juncture, he remains a Penguin. This could change during the season, however, as he is entering the final season of his contract. Due to this, let's discuss three teams who could look to add him if he is made available.

Vegas Golden Knights: The Vegas Golden Knights could consider making a push for Eller. They lost a good amount of forward depth this offseason and could use a boost in their bottom six because of it. If they added Eller, he would work on their third line and be a clear candidate for penalty kill time.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche will likely look to add to their bottom six this season. There is no question that they could use a bit more production on their third line, so a veteran like Eller would make sense for them.

Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars could be another team to watch when it comes to Eller. They could benefit from adding another veteran forward to their bottom six. Eller would provide them with another solid option for their penalty kill as well, so he could be a decent player for them to bring in.
