Philadelphia Flyers: 2 Breakout Candidates for Next Season

With each season that passes, it seems that every NHL team has at least one player break out and become a crucial part of their roster. The 2024-25 season should offer more of the same, so we here at NHL Trade Rumors will be looking at a few breakout candidates from each NHL club heading into the new campaign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be taking a look at the Philadelphia Flyers.

Tyson Foerster: Tyson Foerster took a big step forward this past season with the Flyers. In 77 games with the Metropolitan Division club he set new career highs with 20 goals, 13 assists, and 33 points. Overall, it was a solid year from the 2020 first-round pick, and the potential for him to hit another level this upcoming season is there. He is expected to have a spot in the Flyers' top six and see plenty of power-play time, so the Alliston, Ontario native will be in a position to succeed this season with the Flyers.

Bobby Brink: Bobby Brink is another young Flyers forward who has the potential to make a bigger impact next season. The Minnetonka, Minnesota native set new career highs with 11 goals, 12 assists, and 23 points in 57 games. However, it is unlikely that the 23-year-old winger has hit his ceiling yet, so we very well could see his offense improve even further this upcoming season with the Flyers.
