Predators Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations For Dante Fabbro
Nashville Predators defenseman Dante Fabbro is once again creating buzz in the rumor mill. With the Predators having strong defensive depth and the former first-round pick being in the final season of his deal, a trade later on this season does not seem too out of the question. Thus, if the Predators make him available, here are three teams to keep an eye on in the sweepstakes.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers could use some help on the right side of their defense, and Fabbro would provide them with just that. He would be a nice upgrade to their second pairing over other options like Troy Stecher and Ty Emberson. Thus, the Oilers would be a clear team to watch if Fabbro becomes available.
Utah Hockey Club
Utah HC is searching the trade market for defensemen, as Sean Durzi and John Marino are both out long-term. Thus, it would not be too surprising if they made a push for Fabbro. He would give their top four a nice boost and would also provide them with another serviceable option for their penalty kill if acquired.
Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings are another club that could use some help on the blueline. Their right side is not particularly the strongest, so adding a player like Fabbro could make sense for them. He would work nicely on their bottom pairing but also could jump up in the lineup.
