Utah's Kailer Yamamoto & Bruins' Riley Tufte Placed On Waivers
The Utah Hockey Club have made a notable roster move, as they have placed forward Kailer Yamamoto on waivers. The Boston Bruins have done the same thing with forward Riley Tufte.

Yamamoto, 26, landed a one-year, $775,000 contract with Utah after impressing them during a successful professional tryout (PTO). However, before the end of the first month of the season, he is on waivers and available for the taking.
Yamamoto has appeared in three games this season with Utah, where he has zero points to go along with two hits and a minus-1 rating.
Teams looking for a bit more forward depth could consider taking a flier on Yamamoto. The 5-foot-9 winger has had past success, as he had 20 goals and 41 points in 81 games with the Edmonton Oilers back in 2021-22.
As for Tufte, he joined the Bruins during this past offseason. The 26-year-old winger has played in two games for the Bruins this season, where he has zero points and a minus-1 rating.
Teams looking for another option for their bottom six could consider taking a chance on the 6-foot-6 forward. If he clears, he will heading down to the Providence Bruins.
