Canadiens Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations for Jake Evans

Teams around the NHL are starting to express interest in Montreal Canadiens forward Jake Evans. With the Canadiens off to a poor start and Evans being in the final season of his deal, the possibility of him getting traded is there. Because of this, let's discuss three teams who could look to add him now.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils will likely look to add to their bottom six this season, so a player like Evans could certainly grab their attention. He would fit nicely on either their third or fourth line and would also give them another option to consider for their penalty kill.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes are off to a great start, so they are likely going to add once again this season. They could use a bit more depth down the middle, so it would not be the most surprising thing in the world if they ended up making a push for Evans.

Minnesota Wild

The Wild will likely look to add another forward to their roster before the deadline passes. Evans could be a very good addition to their third line, as he would provide them with more secondary offensive production.
