Ducks Rumors: Robby Fabbri Becoming Trade Candidate

The Anaheim Ducks have had a tough start to the season, as their 5-7-2 record demonstrates. This is not particularly surprising, though, as they are still very much rebuilding. Due to this, there is a very good chance that we will see them be sellers yet again this season.

One Ducks forward who is standing out as a prime candidate this season because of this is forward Robby Fabbri.

Fabbri, 28, was traded to the Ducks during this past offseason by the Detroit Red Wings in a cap dump move. The 2014 first-round pick has struggled during the beginning of his tenure with the Ducks, as he has two goals and a minus-6 rating in 14 games.

While Fabbri has not had the hottest of starts with the Ducks this season, he still has plenty of potential to generate trade interest this season. When playing at his best, he is a very solid middle-six forward who provides solid secondary offensive production. For example, during this past season with the Red Wings, he had 18 goals and 32 points in 68 games.

We will now need to wait and see what happens with Fabbri this season from here. If the Ducks find themselves out of the playoff race nearing the deadline, don't be surprised if the Mississauga, Ontario native finds a new home.
