Attard, 25, got into 12 games with the Flyers last season, registering two points. But in 48 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL, he posted 10 goals and 27 points. The year before at Lehigh Valley he was even more productive, with 12 goals and 32 points in 68 games. In seven games this season, he has yet to record a point. He had a rough training camp with Philly, which sealed his fate in the organization.
The 6'3", 207-pounder plays a physical game and has a heavy shot.
Gleason, 26, heads to the Flyers after a 32-point season with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors last year, his 3rd straight 30+ point campaign. His high-water mark was 44 points with the Texas Stars in 2021-22. He hasn't played in the NHL since a four-game stint with Dallas back in 2018-19.
He's always been a solid pro, but perhaps without the potential upside of Attard, who went in the third round of the 2019 NHL Draft to the Flyers.
