The 6'2", 217-pound winger has averaged 270 hits for each of the previous three seasons, and already has 90 this season in his 29 games. He's also producing on the scoreboard like never before, with seven goals and 11 points. He's on a 19-goal, 30-point pace, which would be career-highs by a long shot. His previous high in goals was eight.
At 12:55 average time on ice, he's being relied on more than ever.
His durability is also something the Knights can count on, as his 303 games played since the start of the 2020-21 season is tied for the team-high. His 999 hits in that time is a Vegas best.
Kolesar was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the third round (69th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, and was acquired by Vegas in June of 2017.
