Tyler Johnson Finished in Boston
Veteran Tyler Johnson's days with the Boston Bruins have come to an end, as the team has placed him on unconditional waivers for the purposes of terminating his contract.

The 34-year-old Johnson was signed to a one-year, $775,000 deal back on Nov. 4th after being on a professional tryout contract (PTO) through camp and into the season. He played in nine games, recording two assists, in 13:05 minutes of ice time per appearance. He posted a plus/minus rating of -1.
He'd been a secondary scoring contributor for the Chicago Blackhawks the previous two seasons, recording 27 goals over that stretch in 123 games while averaging 16:00 TOI per game.
Earlier in his career, Johnson was a four-time 20-goal scorer for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
In 738 career NHL games with Boston, Chicago and Tampa, he recorded at total of 193 goals and 240 assists for 433 points.
The 13-year veteran also has 32 goals and 65 points in 116 playoff games, all with Tampa, where he was a regular on two Cup winners, in 2020 and 2021.
