"Unacceptable!": Patrick Roy Goes OFF on His Islanders—After A Win!
Patrick Roy might have been the most angry I’ve ever seen him since taking over as #Isles HC. Absolutely heated.

“That was unacceptable. We didn’t compete, we didn’t battle in front of the net for the last 8 minutes. That’s unacceptable.”

Islanders' beat writer Rob Taub says he hasn't seen Roy that angry since taking over behind the bench.
"I guess times have changed, because in my days, if my team would have done that to me, I'll break a stick in that room. I'll be very upset to see my team playing like this in front of me," Roy told the media after the game.
“That was unacceptable. We didn’t compete, we didn’t battle in front of the net for the last 8 minutes. That’s unacceptable.
"We talked about it this morning to be stronger, our goalie deserved more respect than this from ourselves."
And while Roy talked about the last eight minutes, how about that final 1:10. The Isles had a 5-2 lead, gave the puck away for a 5-3 game, then Chicago pulled their goalie and scored again to get to 5-4, before time ran out.

The Islanders, with the shaky win, are now 12-12-7 and one point back of a Wild Card spot.
