Auston Matthews Calls Out Leafs Nation After Reaves/Olivier Fight
The Toronto Maple Leafs fan base isn't the most energetic at Scotiabank Arena, but after one of the best fights of the season, Auston Matthews is wondering what's going on.
During Wednesday's game between the Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets, Ryan Reaves and Mathieu Olivier dropped the gloves early on in the first period. It was Reaves first fight of the season, and it was a doozy. Both heavyweights through haymakers, and while the fight was entertaining as it gets, the crowd sat on their hands, and you could hear a pin drop in the arena. Matthews spoke about the sequence after the game.

"Love to see that. Would’ve liked a little more energy from the crowd after that. It was a little quiet tonight especially after two guys like that go at it. But it was a great moment for him. I thought gave us some energy on the bench." https://t.co/TefmHADZeN
You be the judge, was the fight worthy of an ovation?
